Frequently Asked Questions
Everything hosts and guests need to know about using Snaptually.
How does Snaptually work?
Add a short how-to video and tag it to an object in your space. Share the space with guests using a QR code or link. When a guest snaps a photo of the object, Snaptually instantly shows the right video.
Do guests need to install an app or create an account?
No. Guests simply scan your QR code or open your shared link in their phone browser. There is no app to download and no guest login.
Which objects should I tag first?
Start with the items guests ask about most, such as the thermostat, coffee machine, TV remote, grill, firepit, washer, or other appliances with property-specific instructions.
How long does it take to add an object?
Just point your phone at the object, tag it, and record a short video. It is designed to take less time than writing and formatting a set of instructions.
Can I use videos I already have?
Yes. You can upload an existing video instead of recording a new one.
Does the guest need to take a perfect photo?
No. Snaptually uses AI object recognition, so guests can take the picture naturally from different angles.
Can I restrict access to my space?
Yes. You can protect a space with an access PIN for added privacy.
Where are my videos stored?
Your videos are securely hosted on Google Cloud for reliable streaming and can be managed directly in Snaptually.
Is Snaptually free?
Snaptually is free during beta, with no credit card required. You can create a space and tag your first three objects to try it.
